(announced Feb. 21, 2007)  Owns and operates HCM Group, a Broomfield, CO based pension and investment consulting business.  been active in many statewide and local campaigns and was very involved in the effort to attract the 2008 Democratic National Convention to Denver.  Member of the Democratic National Committee and vice-chair of the DNC's Western Caucus.

Tom Strickland - Managing partner at the Denver office of Hogan & Hartson LLP.  Democratic nominee for U.S. Senate in 1996 and in 2002.  U.S. Attorney for the District of Colorado 1999-2000.  Fifteen years at a major Denver law firm where he was senior partner.  Director of policy for Colorado Governor Richard D. Lamm, 1982-84.  Active in Colorado politics since 1980.  J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law, 1977; B.A. from Louisiana State University, 1974.

Polly Baca - President and CEO of the Latin American Research and Service Agency (LARASA).  Previously CEO of Sierra Baca Services, a consulting firm.  Served in the Clinton Administration as as Regional Administrator of the General Services Administration and earlier as Special Assistant to the President for Consumer Affairs.   Executive director of the Colorado Hispanic Institute.  Member of the Colorado State Legislature for 12 years, first elected to the Colorado House in 1974 and to the Colorado Senate in 1978; Democratic nominee for Congress in 1980.  A vice chair of the Democratic National Committee for eight years (1981-89) and was a co-chair of both the 1980 and 1984 Democratic National Conventions.  B.A. in political science from Colorado State University.

Lawrence Martinez - Martinez has been affiliated with the Graphic Communications International Union since 1965, serving in many elected positions including Senior Vice President.  His activism with the Democratic Party spans several decades.

Erich Bussian - Currently involved in real estate investment and alternative energy development; he has extensive business experience  in high tech and in international business.  Active in Colorado politics for many years and has worked on numerous national, state, and local campaigns starting in 1984 with Gary Hart’s first presidential effort.  Lives in Durango
