On Dec. 31, 2007 Huckabee held a press conference where he denounced
the ad. Speaking to a crowded room of reporters in Des Moines, he
said
his campaign had produced an attack ad but would not run it. He
then
famously proceeded to show the ad to
the many reporters in the room.
Also Brooks Jackson of FactCheck.org reported that the ad did run in
Iowa at least ten times, although his campaign had tried to stop it. |
