Obama (voiceover): I’m
Barack Obama and I approved this message. [Music] Barney Smith: I'm Barney Smith. For 31 years I worked at the local RCA plant. It was a good job -- helped me buy a home and raise a family. But four years ago, the plant closed and my job was sent to China. Today RCA still gets a government tax break. John McCain voted to give tax breaks to companies that export jobs. That's why I support Barack Obama. We can't afford more of the same. It's time for a president who puts Barney Smith before Smith Barney. |
Notes: Smith spoke at the
Democratic National Convention in Denver. |
