| April 14, 2007--Businessman John Cox (R-IL), a longshot candidate for the nomination, has spent a lot of time campaigning in Iowa and he received a warm welcome. "I'm here to tell you that we can get the principles of the Republican Party back into this party and we will win in 2008 if we stick to our principles," Cox said. "We want principles back in our government, we want true fiscal discipline, we want smaller more efficient government in Washington, DC," Cox said. (speech) |
