did a meet and greet fundraiser with 9th District state Senate candidate
Bill Heckroth at the Waverly Civic Center in Waverly; and did a fundraiser
with House candidate Doris Kelley and state Rep. Bob Kressig in The Commons
at UNI in Cedar Falls.
On August 15 he attended
a reception for state House candidates Art Staed and Tyler Olson at Brewed
Awakenings in Cedar Rapids; a Wake Up Wal-Mart press conference in front
of the Linn County Court House Cedar Rapids; an event with state Senator
Brian Shoenjahn and state House candidate Pete McRoberts at Buchanan County
Democratic headquarters on 1st Street E in Independence; and a salute to

House in Adel (Dallas County).
On July 7 he taped
"Iowa Press" at Iowa Public Television; in the afternoon attended a rally
for Sen. Roger Stewart and Rep. Polly Butka at Eagle Point Park in Clinton;
and in early evening he participated in an event honoring 1st CD congressional
candidate Bruce Braley at Scott County Democratic Headquarters in Davenport.
On July 8 he attended
events honoring Rep. Nathan Reichert at Green’s Tea and Coffee in the Pearl
Plaza in Muscatine; Sen. Tom Courtney at UAW Local 807 in Burlington; 2nd
CD congressional candidate Dave Loebsack at a private home in Iowa City;
and a reception to benefit Democratic State House challengers (Kvach, Olson
and Staed) at the 2006 Linn Dems headquarters at 601 2nd Ave SE in Cedar
Rapids.
