>Gen. Wesley Clark (ret.) visited Iowa on October 7-8, 2006.  On October 7he had planned to attend the second annual Bruce, Blues & BBQ (a celebration on behalf of Bruce Braley) at Gateway Park in Cedar Falls but did not make it; he attended the UNI Panthers football homecoming game against Missouri State at the UNI-Dome in Cedar Falls.  On October 8 he attended a brunch for Spencer for Congress at Marvin Gardens restaurant in Fort Dodge (venue changed from the home of Blake and Terry Parker); appeared on Fox News from Des Moines; and spoke at a GOTV rally sponsored by Rep. Jim Oberstar (D-MN) and Sen.Tom Harkin to re-elect Congressman Leonard Boswell at McAninch Maintenance Facility in Des Moines.

>Gen. Wesley Clark (ret.) was the special guest speaker at the Warren County Democrats' Fall Dinner at First United Methodist Church in Indianola, Iowa on September 30, 2006.

>Gen. Wesley Clark (ret.) visited Iowa on May 12-13, 2006.  On May 12 he held a press conference with Congressman Leonard Boswell in the State Capitol to call for more services for veterans who suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder.  Late in the afternoon he appeared at an open house at the campaign headquarters of Secretary of State candidate Michael Mauro in Des Moines.  [no info on morning of May 13].  On the afternoon of May 13 in Cedar Rapids he met privately with a small group (10-12) of Iowa Draft Clark 2004 supporters for a little over an hour at the Brewed Awakenings coffee shop and then produced a ClarkCast (podcast) including Q&A from supporters, also at Brewed Awakenings; and he headlined a Hawkeye Labor Council fundraiser at Teamsters Hall in Cedar Rapids.

>Gen. Wesley Clark (ret.) visited Iowa on August 31-September 1, 2005, joining Iowa Democratic Party Chair Lt. Governor Sally Pederson for a series of events in Northern Iowa.  On August 31 they did a breakfast to benefit the Iowa Democratic Party at the Hotel Winneshiek in Decorah (Winneshiek County); held an activist luncheon at Rose Bowl Bowling Alley in Mason City; held an activist meeting at Iowa Lakes Community College in Emmetsberg (Palo Alto County); and did a reception benefiting the Iowa Democratic Party at the home of Rosemarie and Dennis Ward in Okoboji (Dickinson County).  On September 1 they did a breakfast fundraiser at the Holiday Inn in Sioux City.
