LAS VEGAS, NV -- U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced its California Small Business Leaders for McCain coalition members. On Monday several California small business owners endorsed John McCain's economic plan, joining business leaders across the country who have praised John McCain's Jobs for America plan to grow the economy.
"John McCain's long standing commitment to keep government spending in check and to promote a healthy environment for small businesses is why I support Senator McCain," said Herb Morgan, of Efficient Market Advisors. "Senator Obama has put forward an economic plan that will saddle small businesses with higher taxes, expensive mandates and that's change we can't afford."
Yesterday in Denver, Colorado John McCain announced his Jobs for America economic plan, kicking off five days of economic themed activity in critical battleground states. John McCain will continue to discuss his comprehensive blueprint that will create millions of good American jobs, ensure our nation's energy security, get the government's budget and spending practices in order, and bring relief to American consumers.

Colorado Small Business Leaders Endorse
John McCain's Jobs for America Economic Plan
CENTENNIAL, CO -- U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced its Colorado Small Business Leaders for McCain coalition chairs. Several Colorado small business owners endorsed John McCain's economic plan today, joining business leaders across the country who have praised John McCain's jobs-first plan to grow the economy as president.
"My family has lived and done in business in Colorado for over 100 years. We have grown from a small one man blacksmith shop to a business of over 400 hundred employees," said Mark Johnson, President and CEO of Jonson Storage and Moving Company. "We did not get there alone. As a company we have been able to succeed because we invested in our employees and our business. That is why we support John McCain's pro-growth tax policy of permitting businesses to immediately deduct the cost of equipment and technology so we can continue to grow our business and bring more jobs to Colorado. Today's challenging economic climate is not the time to burden small businesses with more taxes."
Ann Brown, president of News Vista Enterprises in Golden Colorado, added, "John McCain has put forth an economic plan that will help small business create jobs, while Senator Obama is proposing raising taxes on small businesses like ours and voting to increase taxes for Coloradoans making as little as $32,000 a year. As a small business owner, the difference could not be more clear and I am proud to support John McCain for president."
Today in Washington, DC John McCain addressed the 79th Annual LULAC Convention where he is discussing how his jobs first plan will help the Hispanic community. Later this week John McCain will travel to Ohio, to talk with working families about his plan to create more jobs in America.

McCain's Jobs for America Economic Plan
MANCHESTER, NH -- U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced Maine Small Business Leaders for John McCain. Dozens of Maine small business owners endorsed McCain's economic plan today, joining business leaders across the country who have praised his Jobs for America plan to grow the economy as president.
"Small businesses are the heart and soul of Maine's economy," said Rep. Josh Tardy, co-owner of Moosehead Manufacturing in Monson, who serves as vice chair of John McCain 2008 in Maine and is the House Republican Leader. "Ninety percent of Maine's businesses are small. We cannot allow the policies of a Barack Obama administration to get in the way of growing existing small businesses and creating new ones. John McCain is the clear choice for president. His agenda for small businesses will help get our national economy and Maine's economy back on track, and create more opportunities for job growth all over the country."
Maine Small Business Leaders for John McCain gathered today in Portland to explain why McCain is the best candidate for the state's small business community. Highlighting the fact that small business is the backbone of Maine's economy, the group will work on a person-to-person basis to spread the word about McCain's pro-growth economic vision.
Rep. Meredith Strang Burgess, CEO of Burgess Advertising in Portland and a Maine State Representative, said, "The small business community in Maine has a strong voice. This coalition represents a remarkable effort and we will work hard in the coming months to elect John McCain president. The choice for change is clear -- Maine small businesses and Maine families cannot afford crushing tax policies and spending plans proposed by Barack Obama. We cannot afford to choose the kind of change that would put government in our way -- we need a government that is on our side, and our choice is John McCain for president."
"For my industry, the building and contracting industry, electing John McCain is a top priority," said Doug Newman, Owner of Newman Concrete Services in Richmond. "This is an election for change. John McCain represents the kind of change small businesses and Maine families need."
Today in Denver, Colorado John McCain announced his Jobs for America economic plan, kicking off five days of economic themed activity in critical battleground states.

Nevada Small Business Leaders for McCain coalition chairs. On Monday
several Las Vegas area small business owners endorsed John McCain’s
economic plan, joining business leaders across the country who have
praised John McCain’s jobs-first plan to grow the economy as president.
“John McCain has a bold plan to help our economy, particularly small
businesses," said Lorraine Bono-Hunt, former Lt. Governor and owner of
the Bootlegger Restaurant. "Obama's expensive tax plan will only hinder
small business growth across the country and we cannot afford
additional tax burdens.”
Irma Aguirre, owner of La Madonna Restaurant added, "John McCain has
consistently tried to do what is best for the American people and small
businesses. Providing a small business the tools necessary to thrive in
our economy is paramount, Senator Obama's tax plan will only choke
growth across the board."
Today in Denver, Colorado John McCain announced his Jobs for America
economic plan, kicking off five days of economic themed activity in
critical battleground states. John McCain will continue to discuss his
comprehensive blueprint that will create millions of good American

New Hampshire Small Business Leaders
Endorse John McCain's Jobs for America Economic Plan
ARLINGTON, VA --
U.S. Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign today announced New
Hampshire Small Business Leaders for John McCain, a coalition group of
more than 80 small businessmen and women from a range of industries
representing all ten counties. Dozens of Granite State small business
owners and executives endorsed McCain’s economic plan today, joining
business leaders across the country who have praised his Jobs for
America proposal to grow the economy as president.
“John McCain understands that small businesses represent the best of
America’s entrepreneurial spirit. In New Hampshire and across the
country, smaller firms perform an irreplaceable community function and
account for much of the nation’s hiring,” said Jim Burke, President of
Burke Advertising in Bedford and Chair of New Hampshire Small Business
Leaders for John McCain. “There is a lot on the line in this election
for New Hampshire’s small business owners and would-be entrepreneurs.
It is important for the small business community to know that while
John McCain will keep taxes low and fight burdensome regulations that
stifle innovation, Barack Obama promises higher taxes that will make it
harder for small businesses to grow and create jobs.”
New Hampshire Small Business Leaders for John McCain gathered in the
Legislative Office Building in Concord today to explain why McCain is
the best candidate for the state’s small business community.
Highlighting the fact that small business is the backbone of the
state’s economy, the group will work to spread the word about McCain’s
pro-growth economic vision.
Karen Cervantes, an owner of Harrison Insurance in Lebanon said, “As a
small business owner, I see firsthand how government decisions impact a
company’s bottom line. There’s no question that higher taxes and
government mandates drive up the cost of doing business and restrict a
company’s ability to thrive. In an election that many say is about
change, it is critical for voters to cut through the rhetoric to see
how the candidates’ plans will affect their pocketbooks. John McCain
understands that small business does best when government gets out of
its way and he will create an environment in which smaller firms can
thrive.”
Today in Denver, Colorado John McCain announced his Jobs for America
economic plan, kicking off five days of economy focused activity in
critical battleground states.

several Portland area small business owners endorsed John McCain’s
economic plan, joining business leaders across the country who have
praised John McCain’s jobs-first plan to grow the economy as president.
"John McCain's plan to keep taxes low to assist small businesses is
very important to me," said Fred Granum, owner of Co Operations of
Portland. "Senator Obama's plan to increase payroll taxes and impose
expensive mandates will only slow the growth of small businesses that
are the economic engine of Oregon and all of America."
Linda Larsen, owner of Bulls Eye Coffee added, "John McCain has
proposed to simplify the tax code to help small businesses grow while
in comparison, Senator Obama has voted 94 times for higher taxes.
Senator Obama’s risky economic policies will only hurt small businesses
in Oregon."

Pennsylvania Small Business Leaders
Endorse John McCain's Jobs for America Economic Plan
HARRISBURG,
PA -- U.S. Senator John McCain's presidential campaign today announced
its Pennsylvania Small Business Leaders for McCain coalition chairs.
Several Pennsylvania small business owners endorsed John McCain's
economic plan today, joining business leaders across the country who
have praised John McCain's jobs-first plan to grow the economy as
president.
"John McCain understands that small businesses are the backbone of
Pennsylvania's economy, and his agenda is one that will create more
jobs and opportunities for our state," said Bruce Hottle, President of
Eagle Concrete Products in Somerset, PA. "In order to get this economy
back on track, John McCain will keep income and investment tax rates
low and pursue tax reform that supports the wage-earners and job
creators who make this economy run. Barack Obama's record of supporting
tax increases for those earning as little $32,000 proves that he lacks
an understanding of the challenges facing families and small business
owners in Pennsylvania."
Karen Deklinski, Owner of Perfectly Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, PA,
said, "Providing affordable health care is as much a concern for small
business owners as it is to our employees. John McCain's plan addresses
these concerns by offering every individual and family a large tax
credit to buy their health care so their health insurance is theirs to
keep, even when they move or change jobs."
Today in Denver, Colorado John McCain announced his Jobs for America
economic plan, kicking off five days of economic themed activity in
critical battleground states. During his visit to Western Pennsylvania
this week, John McCain will continue to discuss his comprehensive
blueprint that will create millions of good American jobs, ensure our
