a news conference and campaign rally in Honolulu, Hawaii, Thursday,
July 3. The news conference is scheduled for 7:30 p.m., followed by an
8 p.m. campaign rally, both at the University of Hawaii, Art Building
Auditorium, 2535 McCarthy Mall, Honolulu HI, 96822. Contribution $10/
$5 Student."
Qualifying for the Ballot
Nader made the ballot in Hawaii in 2008 by
forming the Independent Party of
Hawaii. This required much fewer signatures than running as an
Independent candidate, as he had tried unsuccessfully to do in 2004.
