Joe Biden visited NH on July 21, 2006.  He had a private lunch with House and Senate Democratic leaders at Puritan Backroom Restaurant in Manchester; attended a fundraising reception for Reception for Bob Backus, also at the Puritan Backroom Restaurant; did meet and greet at the Concord Democrats' booth at the Market Days and Summer Music Festival in downtown Concord; and was the featured speaker in support of Executive Council candidate Bev Hollingworth at an “All-American Social” at the Derry/Salem Elks Lodge in Salem.

On June 30 he spoke at the "Politics & Eggs" breakfast in Bedford.  He then traveled up to Concord and did a number of media events, notably an interview with the Concord Monitor ed board and a radio interview on NHPR's "The Front Porch" >, he did a WMUR interview; later in the day he met with Democratic activists at a house party at the home of former Mayor Pat Russell in Keene.
On the morning of July 1 he was spotted in Prime Roast, a coffee shop in Keene; at midday he did a Milford Democratic Committee event at the home of Ron Pieper in Milford; and in the evening he had a dinner in Portsmouth that included State Senators Estabrook and Clark as well as Portsmouth Mayor Marchand.
On July 2 he had to return to Delaware for the day to take care of a family matter.
On July 3 he attended a dessert reception with Rockingham County Democratic Committee and State Senator Maggie Hassan at Around the Corner B&B (Donna Herrmann's) in Exeter (approx 125 people attended).
On July 4 he participated in the Amherst 4th of July Parade.

He attended a fundraiser for State Senate candidate Betsi DeVries, hosted by Professional Fire Fighters of New Hampshire, at the Commercial Street Fishery in Manchester; and did a Strafford County Democratic Committee Town Meeting at Waldron Towers in Dover.

Tom Vilsack visited NH on June 14-15, 2006.  On June 14 he spoke at the "Politics and Eggs" breakfast at the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford; toured the Stonyfield Farm plant in Londonderry; and keynoted the Manchester City Democratic Committee's Annual Flag Day Dinner fundraiser at Derryfield Country Club.  On June 15 he spoke at a breakfast with the Hampton Town Democrats hosted by State Senator Martha Fuller Clark and Executive Council candidate Bev Hollingworth at Hollingworth's home in Hampton; and  spoke at “A Salute to Our State Legislators” hosted by the Nashua City Democrats at Nashua Country Club.

Evan Bayh visited NH on June 9-10, 2006.  On June 9 he lunched with local elected officials at The Puritan Backroom Restaurant in Manchester; and in the evening he delivered the keynote speech at the 11th Annual Carroll County Democrats Grover Cleveland Dinner at the Grand Summit Hotel in Bartlett.  On June 10 he spoke at a breakfast reception honoring Sen. Iris Estabrook and Strafford County Democrats at the home of Rep. Michael Rollo in Rollinsford; attended an event honoring congressional candidate Paul Hodes at the home of Sen. Sylvia and Robert Larsen in Concord; appeared at the campaign kick-off of 10th District Senate candidate Molly Kelly at the Stage Restaurant in Keene (originally scheduled for City Green Gazebo in Keene but moved inside due to rain); and attended a reception honoring Molly Kelly at the Historical Society of Cheshire County in Keene.

Tom Daschle visited NH on June 8, 2006.  He spoke at a private luncheon for the New Hampshire Democratic Senate Caucus at the Puritan Restaurant and Conference Center in Manchester; did a couple of hours of unscheduled driving in Manchester, including stops at the Merrimack Restaurant on Elm Street, Central High School, and the Flood Recovery Center; met with labor representatives at the NH AFL-CIO headquarters in Hooksett; participated in a NH AFL-CIO sponsored Working Families Forum with congressional candidate Jim Craig at UA 131 Hall in Hooksett; and spoke at a fundraiser for Craig at the home of Alderman Mark Roy in Manchester.

-Sen. Feingold addressed the Convention "Kick-Off" Breakfast and took questions in the Davison Hall Dining Commons and then met and listened to New Hampshire Democrats in Carr Hall (he next went to Maine, where he spoke at the Maine Democratic Convention in Augusta).

Gail Morrison and Pauline Chabot in Sanbornton;and spoke at Searles School and Chapel in Windham to benefit the Salem and Windham Democratic Town Committees.  On March 19 attended a brunch with Rep. Claudia Chase at the home of Viki and Roger Williams in Greenfield.

Maggie Hassan at the home of Barbara and Harlow Carpenter in Kensington; a house party for the Merrimack County Democratic Party at the home of Eileen and Bob Ehlers at in Hooksett; and a fundraiser for Latino and African American candidates at the Don Quixote Restaurant in ManchesterOn March 19 he was the guest speaker at the Manchester City Democrats' 9th Annual St. Patrick's Day Breakfast at the Bradley Sullivan Towers in Manchester;walked in Manchester's Saint Patrick's Parade; and attended a fundraiser for State Sen. Peter Burling at the home of Kay Taylor and Wey Lundquist in Hanover.  On March 20 he led a seminar with students on Between Worlds (his autobiography) in the Honors Humanities seminar “Portraits in Human Greatness” led by Dr. Gary Bouchard, English Professor at St. Anselm College in Manchester.

Al Sharpton visited NH on January 12, 2006 for activities honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.  In the morning he attended a student assembly honoring King at Manchester Central High; early afternoon he spoke in a class at New England College in Henniker; he spoke on civil rights to Dartmouth College Democrats in Alumni Hall at Dartmouth College in Hanover; and he delivered the keynote speech at the Manchester Democrats' Lionel Washington Johnson Dinner at the Tower Cafe in Manchester.
