On March 18 he attended a house party hosted Dan and Jennifer Philbrick at the Rollins Mansion on Three Rivers Farm Road in Dover; held a town hall meeting at Exeter Town Hall; and was the guest speaker at the Greater Hudson Chamber of Commerce 38th Annual Awards Dinner at the Castleton Banquet & Conference Center in Windham.
On March 19 he spoke at the dedication ceremony of Buckingham Place, a new housing facility for homeless veterans in Nashua.

John McCain visited NH on October 27, 2006.  He arrived in Dixville Notch on the evening of October 26.  On October 27 he attended a meet and greet with North Country Republican candidates at the Lancaster Welcome Center in Lancaster; attended a town hall meeting with State Senator John Gallus at the Berlin VFW Post; and attended a Bass campaign spaghetti dinner at Nashua VFW Hall.

[He had been scheduled to appear at a family barbeque on behalf of Congressman Jeb Bradley at Albacore Park in Portsmouth on the evening of September 16 but cancelled due to a scheduling conflict].  He acted as grand marshal for the Sylvania 300 NASCAR race at New Hampshire International Speedway in Loudon; and spoke to Republican activists at a house party at the home of Steve and Susan Duprey in Concord.
