Obama-Biden Campaign Announces Women’s Steering Committee
Campaign kicks off Women’s Week with leaders from across Pennsylvania

PHILADELPHIA—Fifty-eight women leaders from across the state have agreed to lead up the “Women for Obama” committee in Pennsylvania.  The announcement of this committee is the first of a week-long series of events and activities designed to highlight the stark differences between Barack Obama and John McCain on issues related to women.  Committee members will take the lead in telling Pennsylvania women of Barack Obama’s commitment to closing the pay gap, supporting a woman’s right to choose and standing up for American families.
