great Democrats on the ticket. Today, we're going to show you how to vote by mail. Mr. Johnson: Whoa, whoa, whoa. Vote by mail? Obama staffer: That's right Mr. Johnson. Voting by mail is swell. Folks all over Colorado are voting from their homes this year and skipping the lines on Election Day. Mr. Johnson: How do I vote by mail? Obama staffer: Just fill out this application. We'll send it to your county clerk right away. Mr. Johnson: Wow. This is easy. And fun. Obama staffer: Within a few days, you'll get your ballot in the mail. Fill in your ballot by connecting the arrow to the candidate you want to vote for. You must use blue or black ink. The best part about a mail-in ballot is that you can take your time and look over every candidate and question. If you're a first time voter, you'll need to make a copy of an ID to mail in with your ballot. Your ID can be your driver's license, passport, a valid student ID with photograph issued by a Colorado college or university, a copy of a current utility bill, bank statement, government check, paycheck or other government document showing your name and address, a Medicare or Medicaid card, a U.S. military ID with your photograph, state or federal government employee ID with a photograph, certified copy of a U.S. birth certificate or a certified document of naturalization. Now you put you ballot in the envelope. Put that envelope in the larger envelope along with your ID and either mail it to your county clerk or bring it to the office. Make sure you have the right amount of postage. And that's it. You just voted for Barack Obama. Mr. Johnson: I just voted for Barack Obama!
