(announced Aug. 7, 2008) Elected state representative
from Coventry in Nov. 2004. Taking leave from position as
communications director for the Rhode Island Democratic Party; started
in that role in May 2007. Project coordinator for the Providence
Community Health Centers, director of legislative and government
affairs for Lt. Gov. Charles Fogarty, communications director for the
York for Governor Campaign, and press secretary for the Rhode Island
Secretary of State.
Field Organizers: Devin Driscoll - Graduated
from Providence College in May 2008, and served for the previous 18
months as chairman of the College Democrats of Rhode Island
(CDRI). Deputy state director of RI Students for Barack Obama
since May 2007.
Jeff Partridge - Before starting
on the campaign in Aug. 2008, Partridge worked for four months as a
canvass director for the Fund for Public Interest Research.
Canvass director/head organizer for ACORN, 2006-07. Field manager
for Clean Water Action, 2002-05. Degree in history, environmental
sciences from University of Massachusetts, Boston, 2003.
