"Our goal was to encourage South Dakotans to participate in the campaign for change.  We focused on making phone calls to voters in Minnesota and Montana and sending volunteer canvassers to Sioux City, Iowa and Billings, Montana.  We ran phone banks every night and sent volunteers to Sioux City every weekend, and greatly exceeded our goals for GOTV calls and volunteer shifts filled for Iowa canvassing.  We also worked with local Obama supporters and tribal officials and helped get early vote locations set up on the Pine Ridge and Rosebud Indian reservations.- Matt McGovern
