Freda Player
Ran for Metro Council District 19 in 2007.  Worked for the Service Employees International Union.  Voter outreach coordinator for the Tennessee Democratic Party through the 2004 election.  Master's degree in political management from The George Washington University, 2003.  Worked on Al Gore’s presidential campaign, worked with 100 Black Men, and operated an after-school program for students from grades 3 through 5 at Cora Howe Elementary School.  Graduate of Fisk University, 2000; she was student body president.

Experience includes program manager for marketing and special events for Pioneer Square Community Association in Seattle, WA.  Field manager and campaign coordinator for Fund for Public Interest Research.  Wells studied at Vanderbilt, then spent a couple of years in Seattle, then returned to Vanderbilt.
