at the University of Oklahoma and at Oklahoma Baptist University.
B.A. from Grinnell College, 1971; M.A. from Yale University, 1974; Ph.D.
from the University of Oklahoma, 1984. Cole is currently the only
Native American serving in Congress.

Cleve Benedict (R-WV) in 1982. A marketing representative for two
daily newspapers in Charleston, WV. Graduate of West Virginia University;
West Virginia native.
