November 15, 2006--Sen. Evan Bayh (D-IN) held a press conference with the three newly elected Democratic congressmen from Indiana. Little more than a week after the elections, Brad Ellsworth (IN-8), Joe Donnelly IN-2) and Baron Hill (IN-9) were already busy with orientation.

Congressman-elect Joe Donnelly spoke with reporters after the press conference. Donnelly said that Bayh came out to the district a lot during the campaign. "Bayh's presence was of enormous help," Donnelly said.
