We want to add our thank you for your participation in these historic Nevada Democratic presidential precinct caucus meetings. We believe the presidential caucus process is the beginning of what will be a banner year for Democrats in our state.

In addition to making sure Nevada is in the win column for our Democratic presidential nominee, we believe 2008 offers us a real opportunity for Democrats to take control of the State Senate and pick up seats in the State Assembly. To do so, we really need your help. We hope we can count on you to help the Democratic legislative candidates in your area-by helping with voter registration efforts this spring, walking a precinct, helping with a neighborhood meeting or town hall, making phone calls, taking a yard sign or talking to your friends and neighbors.

We are proud of what we have been able to accomplish in the last few sessions of the legislature, but we know, with increased numbers, we can do so much more.

We hope we can count on your support as we work to improve our schools through a real investment in education, make affordable, quality health care accessible for all Nevadans, improve the quality of everyday life in communities throughout the state, expand renewable energy to reduce our dependence on oreign oil, make our neighborhoods safer---and more.
