Former Councilwoman Cindy Floyd - elected to the County Council in 1998, and served on the council from 1999 to 2002. The Johns Island resident was a South Carolina delegate to the 2000 Democratic National Convention and currently serves on the Charleston County Planning Commission. Floyd is an attorney in Charleston.
